We are recruiting a highly motivated and experienced Veterinary Communications Manager to join our team at Purina. In this role, you will be responsible for driving engagement with Purina's Pro Plan brands, veterinary technical materials, education, and added-value services. Your primary objective will be to increase trust and recommendation of Pro Plan maintenance and veterinary diets among veterinary professionals. You will be a part of a team based in our Crawley office where you will share the value of open communication to generate impact and return towards our common goals. A day in the life of a Veterinary Communications Manager You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing a comprehensive communication strategy to effectively communicate Purina's nutritional and service offerings to veterinary professionals. Your other key responsibilities include: - Utilise media and digital platforms to optimise the usage of the Purina Vet Centre, Vet Academy, and other relevant materials and toolkits. - Drive traffic and registrations to the Vet Centre through various communication channels, including VRM (emails), social media (e.g., LinkedIn), and PR. - Collaborate with the Scientific Affairs Manager to rollout the UK veterinary communications strategy, targeting a wide range of veterinary practices to generate demand for the veterinary sales team. - Play a vital role in the recruitment and retention of veterinary practice customers, complementing the efforts of our vet sales team. - Ensure data acquisition and compliance with Nestle policies. What will make you successful To be successful in this role you will already have some fantastic external communications experience under your belt, ideally within a veterinary environment role previously or you'll be a strong performing external communications manager ready to move across to veterinary. You will be passionate, tenacious; results focused and enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. Acting as an ambassador for the brands, you will have strong project management and analytical skills. You will need to be highly organised, conscientious and a team player. You'll also have: - Experience in eCRM and digital integration and measurement. - Deep understanding of the UK veterinary market and veterinary business operations. - Proven track record in managing communication strategies and effectively reaching professional audiences. - Sound knowledge and insights into the UK veterinary profession. - Proficiency in communications copywriting, PR, and email marketing. - A veterinary qualification is helpful though not mandatory If you are a driven and strategic communicator with a passion for the veterinary industry, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
