Benefits: Starting salary of £29,500 pa 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays Private pension plan Flexibility to work from home or office (currently minimum 2 days per week in office) Free use of gym close to the office What you’ll do: Train in various departments : You’ll receive comprehensive training in key areas within the organisation, including: classroom and online teaching; assisting with the development, editing and testing of new content ideas; and providing school and student support. Gain real-world experience: You’ll participate in a variety of projects related to the above, but you will also be placed in language schools both here and abroad (Europe, South America etc.) to gain practical experience and knowledge both of teaching with the Callan Method and of language schools in general. What we’re looking for: Excellent written and spoken English: Ideally English will be your first language but if not, you should be able to use the language fluently. Language-learning background: You should be able to speak one or more foreign languages to a reasonable level. A degree-level qualification in languages or linguistics is not required but would be an advantage. Adaptability: You should be open to taking on a variety of roles and be comfortable with change. Collaborative mindset: You’ll be working with different people over time, so we’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic about collaborating with others to achieve common goals. Attention to detail: You’ll need to care about your work and take pride in the quality of what you produce. Language-teaching qualification: Although previous classroom-based language-teaching experience is not required, a recognized TEFL qualification (e.g. CELTA, DELTA) will certainly be of value.
