RM Recruit is delighted to be working with a highly successful Birmingham-based business that is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their team on a part-time, remote working basis. The role involves working 2-3 days per week and is offered on a temporary contract for one month, with the potential for extension. About the Role: In this role, you’ll be supporting the finance function with day-to-day accounting duties, working closely with the team to ensure the smooth running of financial operations. The position is remote, offering great flexibility while being part of a supportive and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Processing invoices and managing accounts payable/receivable Bank reconciliations and data entry Assisting with month-end procedures Supporting with ad-hoc finance tasks as required Person Specification Previous experience in a similar accounts assistant role Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping Comfortable working independently and managing your own time Proficient in accounting software (Sage) and MS Excel Available to start at short notice This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to a thriving business during an exciting period of growth.
