What you'll be doing Constable Crime is a destination crime and thriller list, home to multiple bestselling and award-winning authors including M. W. Craven, M. C. Beaton, Katy Watson, Brian McGilloway and Ana Reyes. This position offers the opportunity to manage a selection of authors and support the Editorial Director with the day-to-day running of the imprint. It will involve editing manuscripts, reading submissions, writing cover copy, proofreading covers, optimising metadata and project managing titles through the publication process. The role is perfect for someone with editorial experience and a passion for crime and thriller, who is looking for their next step up. Who we are looking for The ideal candidate should be highly organised, efficient, proactive and creative, with excellent communication skills. A true passion for reading and publishing crime and thriller, and a meticulous eye for detail, are essential. They should be able to manage their time, prioritise and work well under pressure. We are looking for candidates with some editorial experience and a track record project managing multiple titles and working with authors.
