The Silverdale Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a highly motivated Forest School Assistant.The successful candidate will be working in an environment dedicated to ensuring that 'Learning is for everyone' in a fully inclusive academy and joining a dedicated, enthusiastic, friendly and supportive team.You will be working with children of all ages across the academy, working alongside the Forest School Leader to deliver the Forest Schoolprogramme in an innovative and dynamic way.
Youwill have:
• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant (3)teaching a whole class as well as small groups or individual pupils in additionto supporting a Classroom Teacher
• The ability to create good working relationships to support pupils effectively and promote positive values, attitudes and behaviour
• Knowledge and understanding to effectively use resources to engage pupils and achieve positive outcomes
• A good standard of education particularly in English and Mathematics
• An appreciation and understanding of nature
• An interest in art, music, sport or drama is advantageous
