The Role and Ideal Candidate
* A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related subject (QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification is essential)
* Experience of teaching Religious Studies across Key Stages, including at GCSE and A-Level
* A clear and ambitious vision for the development of Religious Studies in the school, including curriculum planning and enrichment activities
* Leadership experience, or a readiness to take on departmental leadership with the support of senior staff
* A strong ability to foster open discussion, critical thinking, and empathy within the classroom
* A commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports students of all backgrounds and beliefs
