Design Engineer Belfast Overview The role will involve being responsible for formulating technical solutions for a range of tasks ensuring that design standards and customer requirements are met within your design. Hybrid - 3 days onsite at our customer's premises. Responsibilities Deliver datasets to show routing of electrics and hydraulics through the fuselage Develop, implement, technical solutions to ensure they are compliant with all relevant customer, regulatory, and airworthiness requirements, within agreed program, schedule, and manufacturing constraints. Identify, analyse and resolve technical problems and apply/integrate solutions. Develop, execute, and verify methods plans, toolsets and approaches that are appropriate and compliant to achieve the design and programme objectives. Mentor and development of engineers below you within assigned programmes. Support and participate in technical and customer reviews, including formal gate reviews and in the creation and preparation of technical data and presentations of a work-package. Perform all activities at a level of minimal supervision and guide other engineers within the work-package as required. Essential skills Knowledge of aerospace or previous experience, systems routing/installation design Good Communication Experience Experience with working with stakeholders, lead engineers, chief engineers and project managers.
