Business area
Delivering Deal Value (DDV) is a leading team within PwC’s Consulting business, serving both corporate and private equity clients. We work with clients of all sizes, from £50m to over £50bn, including some of the world's most renowned brands. Our focus is on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), both pre and post deal, often collaborating with our Transactions colleagues. Beyond M&A, we also handle non-deal transformation projects.
Our DDV team provides comprehensive support for transactions, covering all operational aspects, including:
* Pre-deal Value Creation: Identifying potential value in deals.
* Operational Due Diligence: Enhancing value on both buy and sell sides.
* Synergy Development: Evaluating synergies and plans for capturing them.
* Carve Out and Divestment: Offering due diligence and support.
* Taking Control and Planning: Managing control and 100-day plans.
* M&A Integration: Facilitating seamless mergers and acquisitions.
* Post-acquisition Improvement: Using Rapid Value Creation methodology for performance enhancement.
We excel at understanding target/client businesses to identify key operational issues, synergies, risks, and upsides. Our findings are communicated in real-time and through detailed reports for buyers or sellers. Post-deal, we assist with implementation projects, including taking control, tracking synergy plans, and executing cost reduction strategies.
