Your Role
We are seeking an energetic and innovative self-starter to play a pivotal role in developing and delivering our fundraising and partnership initiatives. Working closely with the Executive Director, you will help grow unrestricted and restricted income streams, with a focus on individual giving, corporate support, and grants. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver a fundraising strategy for a dynamic and purpose-driven organisation working to support mountain communities worldwide.
Duties will include:
* Support the development and delivery of a funding & fundraising strategy to increase charitable income from sources including individual giving, fundraising campaigns, corporate giving, grant making, and legacies.
* Establish relationships with a range of funders and supporters, including corporates, trusts, foundations, and individuals.
* Undertake regular research of the funding landscape, identifying potential funding streams.
* Responsible for donor stewardship and development of a CRM platform for audience segmentation, engagement, monitoring and reporting.
* Support event development, coordination, and management.
* Support Foundation Ambassadors, supporters, and fundraisers.
* Preparation of Trust and foundation grant applications.
* Support compelling storytelling content creation for external and internal audiences including project information, case studies and images/video.
About you
You will be a proactive self-starter with proven experience in fundraising, able to leverage social media channels to support promotional campaigns. Comfortable working at pace in a dynamic ‘start-up’ environment, you will collaborate with individuals across the globe and navigate different time zones with ease. You will need energy, motivation, and innovative drive to generate income and support our objectives.
The ideal candidate will have:
* At least one year’s experience or demonstrable ability in a similar role.
* Experience in successful international fundraising through varied sources and donor stewardship.
* A proven record of transforming a charity's income and engagement targets.
* Able to think creatively and strategically about fundraising opportunities.
* Trust and foundation grant application experience.
* Creativity in developing and producing case studies and news stories.
* Can demonstrate competency in using the various social media platforms in a professional setting to grow our customer base and engagement activity.
* Excellent writing and speaking skills with experience in preparing bids and grant submissions.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently.
* Passionate and enthusiastic, able to work with others at every level to achieve a shared goal.
Nimsdai Foundation operates a flexible working policy. The role will require periods of working from home, as well as travel to our registered office in Bursledon. There may also be requirements for international travel.

Contract: 24-month role 22.5 (average hours per week)
