We have a exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator who has extensive knowledge of managing and following complex processes. Come and join our community partnerships team where you will be responsible for the administration of grants schemes for Parish/Town Councils, community groups and others.
You will be the main point of contact for the delivery of the Council’s new capital grant scheme for parish and town councils. You will assist applicants in the preparation of grants, be responsible for the administration of the grant process ensuring that applications meet the specified criteria and outcomes. You will be responsible for actively promoting grant schemes as solution to supporting local initiatives. You will also provide administrative duties and support to other grants processes in the wider community partnership team, as required.
You will need to have excellent admin experience and skills; maintaining accurate records and have an eye for detail. Having knowledge of grant processes will be beneficial, although training on grant processes will be provided. From time to time, you may be required to attend evening meetings, where time off in leu will be given.
While this role is hybrid and offers flexibility, there will be a requirement due to the nature of this role for on-site (office) presence for certain tasks, in-person collaboration and face to face work within the team and with external clients.
