Electronics Engineer – Space Imaging Chelmsford, Essex £40,000 - £65,000 excellent bens. Space science is at the core of understanding the Universe's origins and future. The imaging sensors developed and tested at the Chelmsford site have been used on humanities most important space imaging missions. These include the Hubble Telescope, Keplar, GAIA, Mars Rovers, New Horizons, and Rosetta to name but a few. The Engineer will be working in cross-functional teams, reporting to Project Managers and Project Lead Engineers, to ensure project requirements are met and verified in line with the defined project plan. The engineer will also ensure our capabilities are maintained at the cutting edge, and are aligned with our development roadmaps. Your skills and experiences - Graduate Electronics Engineer Degree/HND in electronics engineering or an equivalent qualification Working knowledge and understanding of digital &/or analogue electronics technologies; design tools and techniques, electronic circuits design, schematic capture, design analysis, design documentation, commissioning, and integration An inquisitive mind-set, articulate, with good written and verbal communication skills Benefits: Site is located in Chelmsford, a growing and vibrant city surrounded by countryside with excellent transport links to London (40 minutes by train to Liverpool street) and Stansted (45 minutes by bus).
