We are looking for an exceptional leader to shape and head up a newly created, Joint People and Organisational Development (OD) team. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to drive a positive, high-performing culture across two councils, and to help us prepare for the opportunities and challenges of local government reorganisation.
This new role is pivotal in our transformation journey. You will be CIPD-qualified with a strong track record of delivering strategic people and organisational development initiatives within the public sector. Your ability to lead with clarity and inspire teams through significant change will be key to embedding a culture that embraces innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
As a member of the Joint Leadership Team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future strategic direction of both councils, delivering high-quality, efficient services for the residents of Guildford and Waverley.
