We're Hiring: Engineering Change Co-ordinator for Sizewell C!
I'm thrilled to announce a unique and rewarding opportunity to join the Civil Works Alliance (CWA) as an Engineering Change Co-ordinator. This role is pivotal in supporting the Engineering Change and Efficiencies Manager during the design and construction phases of the Sizewell C project—a 3.2-gigawatt power station that will supply low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, contributing significantly to our energy future for at least 60 years.
The Role: As an Engineering Change Co-ordinator, you will handle all coordination aspects of engineering change for the CWA, working with interfacing disciplines such as estimating, commercial, quality, and risk. You'll have the opportunity to be involved in every phase of the design lifecycle and contribute to the development of one of the UK's most significant energy projects.
In this role, you will:
Assist with managing technical changes from the established baseline in alignment with the Programme Alliance Agreement.
Coordinate changes through constructability and efficiencies reviews, ensuring robust records to justify investments.
Work closely with the Engineering Data and Reporting Specialist to track and report engineering change status according to Key Performance Indicators.
Capture and cross-check documented changes, assist project teams with change management processes, and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience: To excel in this role, you should have:
Experience in construction delivery.
Exposure to site management systems is essential.
Exposure to change control management software is desirable but not essential.
A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Ideally, you hold a full UK driver's licence.
What We Offer:
A competitive salary and benefits package.
Opportunities for professional growth and career progression.
A chance to work on a project with significant national importance.
We value diversity and encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply. This is your chance to contribute to a project that will shape the future of energy in the UK.
