Job Summary:
As a NDT Technician at Honeywell, in Yeovil, you will be responsible for conducting fluorescent penetrant Testing and other Non-Destructive Testing using specific techniques on aerospace products.
This is a site-based role with the hours of 0700-1530, with an early finish on Fridays at 1200.

Key responsibilities:
• Conducts fluorescent penetrant Testing and other Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using specific techniques on aerospace products
• Works within a friendly, empowered and supportive team to meet delivery requirements and
• Attends half yearly meetings to discuss your career with us and what we can do to support your growth and development
• Process parts in accordance with procedures and technical instructions to evaluate for welding, machining, and casting discontinuities
• Uses knowledge of products and manufacturing processes
• Equipment set-up, and NDT methods to process parts for inspection following specific operating procedures
• Interprets and evaluates test results
Key skills and qualifications
Are you keen to work within a friendly team that have a high standard of Health & Safety and enjoy what they do?
• Currently certified to NDT Level II in fluorescent Penetrant Testing
• Review, procedures, specifications, drawings and other instructions for completeness and instructions to perform operation
• Experience in the interpretation of flaws in castings, machined parts, formed tubing, welds and braze joints
• PC literate
• Lives within a commutable distance to our offices, (we start our day at 0700)
