Key Tasks & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Chef Manager (Nights) to lead our night catering operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and talented chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for delicious, nutritious meals.
You will lead our nightly food operations, managing all night team kitchen colleagues with your excellent leadership and organisational skills to nurture team members to produce their very best food.
Acting as a role model to your team, you’ll champion Health and Safety, ensuring the team demonstrate high standards of food storage, production and service and work within the ethos of zero harm. You will manage stock control and ordering and work to minimise waste and optimise efficiency.
Working collaboratively with culinary colleagues, you will innovate and develop menus to suit Client and workforce requirements and seasonal trends.

Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* Previous substantial experience as a chef/chef supervisor in a high-volume catering environment
* Strong leadership and team management skills, including proven supervisory or management experience
* Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
* Experience of Food Safety management/HACCP systems operation
* The ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond positively
* A minimum of a Level 3 Food Safety qualification must be held (or achieved within 1 month of appointment)
* A Health & Safety qualification is desirable
* Able to work any 5 of 7 night shifts, including weekends as required

Pre-Employment Screening
