An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for 5 Graduate/Technicians to join our Roads department on a permanent basis.
NRS brings together a diverse range of Glasgow City Council operational, technical and development services that focus on sustainable transport, place making and delivering essential city services.

Position Details
Duties include the design, planning, implementation, supervision and contract administration of roads improvement works in the city; and assisting in the management and development of the city’s roads infrastructure.
You should have the ability to cope with pressure, be organised, be able to work within an operational team to ensure deadlines are met. You should also be able to manage your own performance as well as your teams’ goals.
It is essential that candidates have a Degree/HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent, along with a current driving licence. Applicants also require to be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, be self-motivated and have excellent communication skills.

Contract Details
Weekly Hours: 35 hours
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday
Annual Salary: £34,.37 - £40,.84 on an incremental scale
