About Us
As a Business Support Officer with Adult Social Care, you will be central in providing support and assistance by undertaking a variety of interesting administration tasks to deliver customer-focused services that improve the lives of people supported by Adult Social Care.
About the Role
Your role will be crucial in supporting teams to provide constant and consistent services to people using Adult Social Care. These posts will provide a high-quality service to the organisation to ensure people contacting ASC are dealt with using a strengths-based approach, ensuring community support options are maximised.
As a Business Support Officer, you will be responsible for dealing with telephone queries directed towards the localities, looking at how people can be supported or signposted, as well as undertaking additional duty functions such as booking regular respite care, associated transport arrangements, and other tasks to support duty.
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, pays attention to detail, can work calmly and efficiently under pressure, and has good IT skills. You will have the ability to work alone as well as cooperatively in a team.
You must be a good communicator with a customer-focused approach and have previous experience in working in an administrative environment. You will need to handle sensitive and confidential information while remaining empathetic to the needs of service users.
