We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Carer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need, including those with specific health conditions. This position requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalised care and assistance in their daily activities. Experience with challenging behaviours, mental health, and substance misuse is important.
Duties
* Provide home care support to clients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
* Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
* Implement behaviour management strategies as needed to promote positive interactions.
* Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in behaviour or health status.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, to ensure comprehensive care.

Skills
* Experience in home care or nursing home settings is highly desirable.
* Must have experience with challenging behaviours, mental health, and substance misuse.
* Strong understanding of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and their families.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Empathy and patience when dealing with individuals requiring support.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple client needs efficiently.
