This role is suitable for hybrid working, this will involve working across our Trust sites and some home working most weeks.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will work as part of both the Income and Costing teams supporting the Trust to deliver its financial objectives.
The post will support identifying cost improvement opportunities for both income and expenditure. This will involve implementing mechanisms to report activity information as part of the Elective Recovery Fund and contribute to identifying waste reduction opportunities to support the Trust to close its financial gap.
This will involve analysis, interpretation of complex data and information before recommending and implementing solutions with Service Managers, Clinicians and Clinical Service Unit (CSU) Finance Managers. The role requires expertise in SQL and data analysis.
The Deputy Finance Manager will work jointly across both the income and costing teams supporting delivery of the agenda for the finance department.
