We’re looking for a Warehouse Multi Operative to join our team at Wincanton in Scotstoun. This role is to work on the BAE Systems Ships contract. You will report directly to our Team Leader to provide flexibility to perform range of different duties. Counterbalance Forklift truck licence required for this role.
Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain Security Clearance

Day to Day
* Loading and unloading lorries including manual handling, using roller cages, pallet and forklift trucks
* Ensuring the correct handling of all client products at all stages within the facility whilst remaining compliant with manual handling procedures – this could include live animals
* Undertaking Manuel and/or electronic reporting requirements as requested
* Carry out operational tasks to achieve departmental and site objectives

What will you bring?
* A counterbalance forklift truck license
* Able to provide and understand the need for a high standard of customer service.
* A proactive, flexible and "can do" attitude to resolve issues and challenges.
* Good attention to detail and an accurate and precise way of working to ensure all documentation and data is correct.
* PC literate and numerate with good communication skills, including a minimum of a basic understanding of Microsoft Office as required.
* Ability to work as part of a team but also independently and to show initiative
* Possess a positive attitude with a keen and enthusiastic approach.
* Compliance with manual handling procedures
