Trinity House, as an Arm’s Length Body to the Department for Transport, is mandated to comply with the Procurement Act 2023 (PA23) and must manage its contracts effectively and transparently through the publication of transparency notices on the Government Find a Tender Service and the new Central Digital Platform.
This new post is a unique opportunity to use new and evolving data analytics tools to generate and manage performance metrics for the Trinity House procurement function, suppliers to Trinity House, and commercial contracts, generating continual improvement and learning opportunities whilst maintaining compliance to the PA23 regulations.
The role encompasses three distinct areas of responsibility:
1. Line management of a team of Purchasing Officers, responsible for the services day-to-day purchasing requirements
2. Management of the supplier database and records
3. Contract management of all Trinity House commercial contracts

We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills, experience, and qualifications:
1. CIPS Level 5 or working towards is highly desirable
2. Proven ability to lead, support, and inspire teams effectively
3. Background in working on major projects in Government with a particular focus on commercial aspects
4. Experience of working within Public Procurement Rules and Policy
5. Experience in working with Power BI or similar
