Our dedication to holistic care shines through, ensuring dedicated support at every level. We aim to enhance the quality of our family members' lives and create a happy environment.
We are looking for a talented individual who will assist our Catering Team as a Kitchen Assistant in our residential care home for older people in Stowmarket, Suffolk.
Food is an essential ingredient in a residential care home! At Finborough Court, our Catering Team plays a critical role in upholding our commitment to providing healthy, nutritious, and tasty meals as we take the lifestyle and diet of our residents very seriously.
Finborough Court is a modern and spacious home in the quiet, rural village of Great Finborough. Our staff provide residential care, dementia care, and respite care for 32 residents. The health, well-being, and happiness of our residents are of primary importance to us.
Responsibilities:

* Work as part of a team and be willing to take on any task, within your capabilities, to provide an excellent service to our residents.
* Attend meetings and training activities as required.
* Perform other duties assigned by your manager from time to time that are within your capabilities.
We offer a full induction to the work and also provide other training as required by the post.
About you:
* You need to enjoy working with older people and have empathy with them.
* A basic food hygiene certificate and a food-related qualification would be an advantage but are not essential.
* You need to be able to work as part of a team to provide an excellent service to our residents.
* You need to be a well-organised, practical, and adaptable person.
