Quality Systems Technician required in Daventry on a 6-month temporary basis. This role is Monday to Friday 8-4, 37.5hrs per week and a hybrid role for up to 3 days a week on site.
For this role, we're looking for candidates that have experience in QMS management and have done audits in a previous role.
As a Quality Systems Technician your responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Planning, scheduling and leading internal audits
- Writing work instructions, policies and procedures
- Raising reports
- Raising corrective actions and following up with internal stakeholders
Responsible of conducting internal audits in an organisation. Plan and lead training, root cause analysis and resolution of non-conformance. Demonstrate technical understanding of manufacturing processes, its risk analysis and control plans. When needed help conduct Product Quality Council, pull together presentation of management review etc. Also conduct other QMS related activities needed to perform QMS processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the knowledge of relevant requirements based on internal changes
Able to perform audits with process based approach and risk based thinking
Initiate, approve and monitor corrective actions associated with the audit findings
Own and maintain audit plan/schedule document and audit records
Plan, perform and lead different QMS audits per ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 and issue OFIs and Non-Conformance as needed
Participate in supporting, implementing, auditing and one-on-one training for AIAG Core Tools
Auditors for Product Audits shall demonstrate competence in understanding product requirements and use of relevant measuring and test equipment to verify product conformity.
Qualifications
Associate degree or equivalent business experience.
IATF 16949 + ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Trained or ISO (phone number removed) familiarity
AIAG core tools trained
this position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
International Standards familiarity, specifically ISO 9001, is required.
A background in operations, manufacturing or logistics (manufacturing s preferable)This role pays £17.44ph
