Our client, a leading global OE manufacturer in sustainable automotive solutions, is seeking a Product Information Management Specialist to join their dedicated team in Warwick.
You will be part of a team of five, contributing to the success of the vehicle data through research and validation.
The company is offering:
1. Base salary of £28,000 - £35,000
2. 8% bonus
3. The company will match and add 9% additional pension contributions
4. 25 days holidays (plus bank holidays)
5. Hybrid working - 2 days office, 3 days remote
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the integration of the client's part numbers into the global Product Information Management tool.
2. Drive research to identify or validate new vehicle application connections to existing part numbers, bolstering our client's market presence.
3. Contrast key defined competitors' (KDC) reference details against part numbers to enhance the client's competitive edge.
4. Ensure the accuracy of data storage hubs.
5. Consistently update and maintain product relational part number repositories.
6. Facilitate product photography, closely collaborating with professional photographers as needed.
7. Manage TecDoc updates and maintenance.
8. Engage proactively with internal teams, especially Category, Product, and Engineering departments.
9. Cultivate relationships with customers, addressing feedback and challenges with a solutions-oriented approach.
10. Stand as a beacon of our client's core values, inspiring colleagues with unparalleled dedication and professionalism.
You:
1. A seasoned professional in the Automotive Aftermarket or motor trade business.
2. Ideally, prior experience as a Catalogue Specialist within main dealerships or the aftermarket domain would be desirable.
3. A firm grasp on car parts complemented by foundational mechanical knowledge.
4. Proficiency in using TecDoc or derivative systems, such as Teccat/Webcat.
5. Familiarity with ERP and industry-specific Cataloguing/Analytics Tools, notably CCU (though not essential).
6. Stellar communication capabilities.
7. Robust proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
