SHEQ Advisor Location: Based near Maidstone with travel across Kent, Sussex & Surrey Head Office Requirement: 2 days per week Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Our client, a leading UK utilities and construction firm, is seeking a skilled SHEQ Advisor to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to safety, health, environmental, and quality standards within a well-established organisation known for its commitment to excellence in utilities and construction services. Key Responsibilities Support the implementation of SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards across various projects. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with SHEQ policies and procedures. Provide guidance and support to on-site teams to promote best practices in health, safety, and environmental management. Advise on all SHEQ aspects of projects and ensure adherence to statutory and contractual requirements. Support the development and delivery of SHEQ training sessions and toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety and quality. Assist with accident and incident investigations, including root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions. Maintain and update SHEQ documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and audits. Required Skills and Qualifications NEBOSH Qualification is essential. Proven experience in the Utilities or Construction sector. Experience with CDM Regulations is advantageous. Strong knowledge of current SHEQ legislation and best practices. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence across teams. A proactive, hands-on approach, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement. Additional Information The role will involve travel across Kent, Sussex, and Surrey. Attendance at the Head Office near Maidstone is required twice weekly.
