Powder Process Application Engineer
Job purpose:
To provide technical and process responsibility across a range of applications. In some cases, this will be supporting group colleagues, whether in Sales or in Fulfilment, and in some cases direct involvement with the customer.
Responsibilities: Technically review and respond to RFQs, helping our team to specify our equipment and give an accurate price
Provide technical solutions to customers, addressing their specific needs and challenges in the bulk solids and powders industries.
Support our Global and EMEA Sales teams by providing technical insights and guidance, to achieve team sales targets
Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of our applications, staying updated on the latest advancements and trends in the bulk solids and powders industries
Work with Technology Centre, conduct technical presentations and demonstrations for customers and sales teams
Collaborate with the engineering and R&D teams to ensure our offerings are competitive and meet the needs of the market and industry
Utilising and maintaining all relevant sales tools CRM and CPQ
Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Sales Manager, Application Engineer or similar in the powder process industry
Good understanding of the powder process, thanks to contacts with customers, or commissioning experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proven ability to analyze and understand competitors' technology and pricing strategies
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
Willingness to travel
