Main duties of the job We are seeking a dynamic trial manager for a medium-term role within the centre. You will deliver a social media abstinence trial using Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA). You will be responsible for helping develop the trial protocol, submitting ethical approvals where necessary, recruitment and engagement of young people, adapting novel technologies for intervention (e.g., app restrictors) and measurement (e.g., EMA delivery platform), and ensuring the trial runs on schedule and to the protocol specification. You will develop and contribute towards a research agenda examining the role digital and social media plays in adolescent mental health. This will involve working with the broader research team and assisting with team meetings, papers, and conferences.
