Role Overview:
As a Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that solutions meet organizational needs. Working within a hybrid environment of Waterfall and Agile methodologies, you’ll have the opportunity to lead on projects, liaise with suppliers, and translate complex technical information into clear, actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
Work within Waterfall and Agile frameworks, adapting to project-specific needs.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and ensure alignment.
Translate untechnical requirements into technical specifications for suppliers.
Analyse processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for optimization.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity and consistency.
Contribute to the development and delivery of strategic initiatives. Skills and Experience Required:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within the utilities sector or a similar environment.
Strong knowledge of Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business-friendly language.
A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management.
Experience working with suppliers and third-party vendors. Nice-to-Have:
Business Analysis certifications (e.g., IIBA, BCS).
Experience using tools like JIRA, Confluence, or other project management software. What We Offer:
