People Advisor The People Advisor role sits within the People Operations team and reports directly to the People Operations Manager. We are looking for proactive and people-centric advisor to provide day to day support to our employees and managers on all HR-matters from administration through to advisory. You will work in collaboration with our Talent Advisor and have assistance from the People Assistant. Responsibilities: Deliver a high-quality employee experience where people feel connected to char.gy through each touch point of their employee lifecycle. Provide support to employees and line managers on all internal people processes and procedures. Oversee the employee records on all HR databases and ensuring compliance with Data Protection. Generate reports, metrics and insights on people operation activities, e.g. employee engagement feedback, D&I data, turnover etc. Work closely with the Talent Advisor to deliver effective on-boarding process ensuring new employees are successfully integrated in the business and identify areas of improvement or development. Take ownership of the new starters’ induction in collaboration with line managers, and ensure all mandatory training is completed by all employees. Support the People Operations Manager with the review and continuous improvement of processes and procedures, employee engagement or cultural initiatives. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the HR function – owning projects and collaborating with wider stakeholders. Process and advise on all family related absences for the company (i.e. maternity and paternity leave) and support with long term sickness and occupational health cases. Act as a trusted advisor on all policy and employment-related matters (e.g., sickness absence, probation or performance management) and escalate complex matters to the People Operations Manager as required. Assist with disciplinary, capability and grievance processes as required. This role will suit you if you: Essential have experience working in a start-up or scale up environment. have a minimum of or currently working towards a Level 3 CIPD in Human Resources Management. have experience working as a HR generalist with a focus on HR operations, basic employee relations, data reporting and HR systems. have experience in managing HR lifecycle processes and procedures, e.g., new starter paperwork and contractual changes. are a proven self-starter with a results and solution-orientated approach. Desirable have experience in using an HRIS system, preferably BambooHR, Office 365, Slack, Zoom and Teams. have exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. have knowledge of basic employment law and HR best practice.
