Job Title: Customer Advisor – Engineering Support (administration)
Location: Belfast
Duration: Full Time Permanent position
Hours: 8.30am-5pm Monday-Thursday, 8.30am-4:30pm, Friday. 37 hours per week.
On behalf of our client, a Top Northern Ireland service provider and award-winning employer, we are seeking an individual with administrative experience to join their team.
· The post holder will provide administrative support to the engineering department. You will be responsible for dispatching engineers to jobs with the use of Handheld devices together with the support of other staff and recording all relevant details onto the Data Management System. You will update data capture systems in a timely manner with careful attention to detail; maintain sequential files of engineer’s job sheets where required and assist in the provision of reports to management.
· You will also liaise with customers to agree appointment dates and resolve problems and complaints that may arise. In using your communication skills, you will also liaise with departments within the company to help resolve customer related issues within company standards of service.
· You will support all processes required to ensure effective operation of emergency services including rota preparation, database update, liaison with dispatch centre and issue of safety notices to the Health and Safety Inspectorate as required. You will also support engineers with work related queries and fact-finding information when requested.
· Support processes to ensure that all Customer Chargeable quotations and renewals are issued in a timely controlled manner.
· Ensure phones within the department are answered in a timely and professional manner.
· Support all other processes within the business as requested, i.e. filing, archiving, photocopying and general administration tasks
Essential criteria
· English and Maths GCSE or equivalent. OR Minimum of 1 years’ relevant experience within an office/administration function.

· Experience of working in a high pressurised environment.
· Comprehensive IT skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office Packages, in particular, MS Excel.
· Excellent organisational ability.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Effective communication skills.
· This is a permanent contract and applicants will need to have a permanent right to work in the UK.
What you can expect:
Salary: £22,630 per annum with two 6 monthly increases taking salary to £23,630 per annum. (The starting salary will rise to £24,753.50 on 1st April.
