Unqualified teacher\n\n£100-£110 per day\n\nNorthampton\n\nAbout the role\n\nReady to start a career in schools or wanting a change of direction?\n\nAs a Cover Supervisor, you'll take the lead in guiding classes of around 30 students in the absence of the class teacher. Lessons will always be pre-planned, and your role is to facilitate learning, manage classroom dynamics, maintain accurate registers, and seamlessly handover to the absent teacher.\n\nVision for Education's Cover Supervisor Training Programme is here to support you!\n\nWe offer a fully comprehensive Cover Supervisor Training Programme developed by Vision for Education and Partnership SCITT to prepare you with the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the classroom.\n\nWe have run this course over the past year with great success, many of our longer-term placements have led to permanent contracts due to outstanding feedback from the schools in which we have placed them.\n\nWe are working with supportive schools in Daventry who have been instrumental in providing a supportive environment in which you can hone your skills.\n\nRequirements\n\nTo be considered for the role of Trainee Cover Supervisor you will:\n\nBe a natural leader with the confidence to guide a lesson in the teacher's absence.\nHave experience of supporting young people in either a sports coaching, mentor or similar role.\nAble to provide suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK\nVision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
