Building Surveyor - Stoke-on-Trent
A leading provider of Extra Care and Retirement Living is searching for a Building Surveyor to join their growing capital works team. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a variety of capital works projects at elderly living sites across Stoke-on-Trent.
In this role, you will work remotely, visiting sites to undertake surveys, provide technical support, project manage, and administer contracts for capital works schemes including renovations, refurbishments, kitchens, bathrooms, reroofing, external works, reconfigurations, and decorations.

You will have the option to work from home and/or on-site and undertake a traditional 35-hour week or condense 70 hours into a 9-day fortnight.

Requirements:
* Experience managing projects from conception to completion
* Experience working with a contractor or client side
* Experience in a customer-facing role
* Industry-related qualification
Key Duties:
* Undertake site surveys and project manage major capital works
* Work with care home managers to identify areas of improvement
* Prepare specifications and review contractor tenders
* Undertake technical inspections and prepare reports
Salary & Package:
* Great basic salary of £62,250
* Car leasing scheme available
* Mileage allowance of £45p (home to site)
* Up to 9% pension matched
