What you will do:
1. Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to adult patients and carers in a community setting.
2. Collaborate with senior staff to offer specialist advice to the wider community rehabilitation and therapy services.
3. Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, external organisations, and other services to ensure seamless patient care.
4. Contribute to developing and implementing patient-focused pathways of care.
5. Promote relevant health campaigns within the community.
6. Maintain accurate and current patient records per professional and legal requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
1. HCPC registration (Health and Care Professions Council).
2. Proven experience in adult speech and language therapy within a community setting.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
4. Ability to manage a complex caseload independently and prioritise workload effectively.
5. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
6. Experience working with a multicultural and diverse patient population.
7. Previous experience in a Band 7 role or equivalent senior position.
8. Knowledge of relevant health promotion strategies.
