Job Title: SEN Tutor Location: South East England, Surrey, Guildford Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored one-to-one support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans to cater to the specific needs of each student Implement specialised teaching techniques to assist students in overcoming learning barriers Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure a cohesive support system for the student Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Required Qualifications: Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles Education: Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs Experience: Prior experience working as an SEN tutor or in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of special educational needs and associated challenges Ability to develop and implement personalised learning strategies Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in SEN teaching or related field Experience with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, ADHD, or autism Working Conditions: The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to students with SEN in an educational setting in Guildford, Surrey.
