DTA Scotland is an independent, member-led organisation focused on promoting, supporting, and representing development trusts in Scotland. With nearly 350 development trust members, DTA Scotland empowers community-led organizations to enhance the quality of life in urban, rural, and island communities across Scotland. Established in 2003, DTA Scotland converted to a SCIO (Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation) in 2016 (No.SC034231).
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Community Ownership Adviser - Churches at DTA Scotland located in Edinburgh, with flexibility for remote work. The role involves engaging with communities, communicating effectively, managing stakeholders, providing training, and overseeing project management activities to support communities consider possible new futures for their churches and church halls.

* Training and Project Management experience
* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
* Ability to collaborate with diverse community groups
* Experience in the non-profit or community development sector
* Knowledge of social enterprise business models and funding streams
* Relevant degree in Community Development, Business, Accountancy, or Architecture
