As an Engagement and Resettlement Facilitator, you will play a vital role in introducing prisoners to education and work pathways, promoting positive personal development, and fostering a supportive environment.
Welcome new prisoners and guide them through assessments, such as Maths, English, and the Do-It Profiler, to support their education journey.
Foster Collaborative Rehabilitation: Work closely with CIAG and other teams to structure each prisoner’s journey, ensuring consistent support and development.
Model restorative techniques that encourage prisoners to take responsibility for their actions, fostering self-improvement and positive change.
Relevant qualifications in education, coaching, or mentoring (e.g., Level 3 certificate in coaching or similar).
Level 2 in Maths & English.
Experience in coaching or teaching in adult learning settings is desirable, with a willingness to train in restorative practices.
