Your Role in the Wills and Estates Team: As an experienced Solicitor or Fee Earner, you will play a key role in advising individuals and families on all aspects of private client law. Your work will be both technically challenging and personally rewarding, as you help clients navigate important decisions about their future. Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of wills, probate, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, and Court of Protection cases. Provide clear and empathetic legal advice, ensuring clients understand their options. Handle estate administration, supporting families through the probate process. Represent clients in Court of Protection proceedings, ensuring their best interests are safeguarded. Work closely with elderly and vulnerable clients, offering guidance on managing their financial and legal affairs. Keep up to date with changes in legislation and best practices, ensuring compliance at all times. Support the firm’s marketing and business development efforts, including networking and content creation. This role also offers the opportunity to undertake funded STEP training, helping you develop specialist expertise in trusts and estate planning. What We’re Looking For A qualified solicitor or experienced fee earner with at least two years of experience in private client law. Strong knowledge and experience in wills, probate, trusts, and Court of Protection matters. Excellent client care skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. A proactive and detail-focused approach, with the ability to manage a varied caseload independently. A desire to develop professionally, including the opportunity to work towards STEP accreditation.
