Alexander Steele are working on a retained basis with one of Scotland's best known branded food businesses. They produce high quality products for the UK's major retailers.
Job purpose:
The guardian and lead on the portfolio, touching everything from brand planning, performance reporting, NPD concepts and delivery, packaging changes and the full marketing communications mix, working across the business to help our brands grow.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Brand Planning: Development and execution of brand plans including range optimisation, NPD planning, communication planning, distribution opportunities and media plans.
2. Innovation Management: Own the innovation development – filling the 18-24 month pipeline and leading the projects through to delivery with cross functional teams.
3. Consumer & Customer Insight: Be the expert on the category consumer and how it’s showing up to consumers, and in retail. Work closely with the category & insight team to create compelling sell-in stories, understand the key opportunities and identify the risks to the brand.
4. Communication Development: Development and execution of all category communications, ensuring consumers know why our brands are worth paying more for, and are aware of any new products launched – and post launch evaluation to optimize ROI.
5. Artwork Management: Check and sign off on any artwork changes.
6. Day to Day Brand Management: Keeps up to date all consumer & internal touch points of the Brand and champion the brand guidelines in the wider business.
