We are currently working on a number of instructions with the Regulatory departments of various leading national and international law firms. We are therefore interested in speaking with candidates at all levels with experience in investigations, corporate manslaughter, environmental breaches, and food safety regulations. Summary Job Title : Regulatory Solicitor / Legal Executive (HSE Inquests & Motor Crime) Location : Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol Salary : 45,000 - £70,000 Hybrid Working : Yes Reports to : Partner / Head of Department Experience Level : NQ (Newly Qualified or more) – the ideal is to have 1 PQE or more in regulatory experience. That said the teams we are working with have also stated they will consider retrain opportunities for the right candidate. Nevertheless, every role with which we are dealing enables candidates to gai exposure to the highest quality of work. In general terms, candidates can expect to play an integral part in every matter. The exact nature of every role will vary, but in general terms, applicants can expect to: Collaborate with a Partner working for a range of insurer and corporate clients Review and analysing prosecution evidence Draft witness statements Critically analyse and summarising client evidence Liaise with key bodies like the Coroner's Office, CQC, HSE, Police, and other regulators Instruct experts and prepare defence case statements, sentencing bundles, and mitigation bundles Attend interviews under caution and conferences with Counsel Assist in trials and inquests Prepare detailed follow-up notes on case outcomes Regulatory solicitor jobs – broad range of PQE considered While candidates with 1 PQE are preferred, newly qualified solicitors (NQs) with a passion for regulatory work will also be considered.
