Sales Support Administrator – Ruislip - £26000 - £30000 dependent on experience.
Monday to Friday – 0830 – 1700. Fully office based.
My client is a very well established and successful business. They are recruiting for a Sales Support Administrator role to join them on a permanent basis.
The role is increasingly important to the Sales function reporting to the Sales Support Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of duties in relation to the support of the Sales team, including National Account Managers, the Export Manager, and the field-based Sales Account Managers.
Responsibilities:
1. Preparing internal costing spreadsheets and producing quotations.
2. Order entry and image requests.
3. Writing letters to customers.
4. Collating weekly reports from Sales Account Managers.
5. Updating Sales Account Managers with requested information.
6. Completing product specification customer forms with product detail and text for online trading.
7. Chasing shipment dates and forwarding details to customers.
8. Participating in meetings with customers and relevant National Account Managers.
9. Potential involvement in trade shows.
Requirements:
1. Advanced Excel skills – able to perform VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and ideally macros.
2. Fluency in French is advantageous but not essential.
3. Minimum 2 years’ experience ideally in a customer service or sales environment.
4. Experience in the import and distribution sector.
5. Experience supporting account managers or field sales representatives.
6. Experience preparing quotations and product data sheets.
7. Experience processing orders.
8. Experience chasing deliveries and providing delivery status updates.
9. Able to work to set deadlines and work on their own initiative.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
