Central is currently recruiting for Support Workers, to work in St. Albans. The service provides support to young people aged 16-25 who have moved on into their own accommodation to help them live independently in the community Candidates will be required to work various shift patterns including days, nights and sleep ins on a rota basis. The pay rate is £13.15 per hour, with £1.91 holiday pay, totalling £15.06 per hour. In this position, you will be required to conduct building and wellbeing checks, repairs maintenance and inter agency working. Please note, this role involves lone working. An understanding of the problems facing homeless young people and homeless issue The ability to create good professional working relationships with young people An understanding of safeguarding and knowledge of the benefit system.
