Job overview
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Academic Deputy from September 2025. The Academic Deputy will be responsible for all aspects of the School’s academic operations, as well as those responsibilities common to all teaching staff at the School.
We are looking to employ a full-time, well-qualified individual to deliver this role, as well as playing a role in the life of a thriving boarding school.

Kingham Hill is a thriving, independent, co-educational, boarding and day school of approximately 350 pupils between the ages of 11 and 18. There are twelve Houses, eight for boarders and four for day pupils. Pupils are very well known and supported individually in relation to their academic progress and personal development. Recent capital developments include a new Library, Science & Mathematics building, Sports Centre, and Theatre.
Entry to the School is normally at 11+, 13+ and into the Sixth Form. The School also offers BTECS and CTechs. Value-added scores in public examinations are among the highest both regionally and nationally.
