About the role:
As an EYFS Teacher, you’ll play a pivotal role in building a foundation for our youngest learners, guiding them through their first steps in formal education. Supported by experienced Teaching Assistants, you’ll have the freedom to create a stimulating and engaging curriculum, blending play-based learning with structured activities that meet the unique needs of each child.
We’re looking for a teacher who can bring creativity, patience, and a love of learning to the classroom, making every day an exciting new adventure for our students. In this part-time role, you’ll have the chance to balance work with your other commitments while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children.
Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a focus on EYFS or Primary Education.
• Prior experience working within an EYFS setting, ideally with a diverse student population.
• A passion for fostering curiosity and resilience in early learners.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with families and team members.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality, child-centered lessons that promote curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning.
• Create a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth.
• Collaborate closely with TAs and other EYFS staff to enhance classroom activities and individualize instruction.
• Monitor and record each child’s progress, providing feedback to parents and carers to keep them involved in their child’s journey.
• Contribute to our vibrant school community by participating in school events and continuous professional development.
