Recruitment Consultant (Education)
Salary + 20% uncapped commission
Location: Lancing
The role of a Recruitment Consultant at Master Class can be extremely demanding and diverse. You will be the vital link between clients and candidates.
Working life: Monday - Friday 7.30am till finish; you may be contacted outside of office hours by your clients/candidates.
Salary: £21,000 - £23,500 pa depending on skills and experience, plus a 20% uncapped commission and many other incentives.

The role involves:
1. Using sales, business development, marketing techniques, and networking to attract business from client companies.
2. Visiting clients to build and develop positive relationships.
3. Developing a good understanding of client companies, their industry, work culture, and environment.
4. Advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in various media, such as newspapers, websites, and magazines.
5. Using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates, and build relationships.
6. Headhunting suitable candidates who may already be employed.
7. Using candidate databases to match the right person to the client's vacancy.
8. Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and tests, and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client.
9. Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the client.
10. Briefing candidates about the responsibilities, salary, and benefits of the job in question.
11. Preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients regarding suitable applicants.
12. Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the client.
13. Informing candidates about the results of their interviews.
14. Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between clients and candidates.
15. Offering advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training, and career progression.
16. Working towards and exceeding targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a value to be billed to clients, or business leads generated.
17. Ensuring compliance and safeguarding is followed.
18. Reviewing recruitment policies to ensure the effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programmes.
