Teaching Personnel are working with a well-established and forward-thinking school in the heart of Leeds, known for its supportive environment, diverse student body, and commitment to educational excellence. The school believes in nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and a deep appreciation for language in all its forms.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4.
* Develop creative and effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
* Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
* Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing feedback to both students and parents.
* Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and extracurricular activities.
* Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Qualifications:
* Ideally a qualified teacher with QTS, however we are able to consider unqualified teachers with relevant experience.
* Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
* Experience teaching across KS3 and KS4; experience with KS5 is desirable but not essential.
* Experience supporting students in mainstream and/or specialist education in the UK is essential.
* A passion for teaching and a desire to make a positive impact on students’ academic and personal development.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
