Salary: £32,500 - £43,400 pro rata per annum depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
Contract type: Permanent role, Part-Time 16 hours per week.
Location: Office Base is Northampton, twice a week (Tuesday and Wednesday from 2pm until 10pm)

Job Introduction
This is a role for the Regional Evening Show that is broadcast across the East. You will work with the presenter to create and set up content relevant to audiences listening in 8 different counties. It will require you working in a small team in Northampton and communicating and collaborating with teams at different radio stations. You’ll have sound editorial judgement and be able to seek out the best contributors from a wide range of backgrounds. Clear, confident communication is important and you’ll have the ability to develop story ideas and produce accurate and impartial journalism, and have excellent writing skills for producing content on multiple platforms.
Main Responsibilities
* Strong editorial judgement
* Experienced producer of live radio
* Technical experience of working in a radio studio and knowledge of operating a radio desk
* Experience of finding, researching and setting up stories for Radio, Digital and Social Media
* Strong organisational skills
* Self-starter and motivator able to work in small team
* Good collaborator with other teams based across the region
* Creative type able to bring a different sound and feel to a regional evening show audience
