Job summary There is an exciting opportunity for a Locum Consultant in Acute Medicine to join the existing team working across WTWA Hospitals. The Acute Medical and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) team includes 11 consultants with a breadth of specialty knowledge. We are supported by an excellent multidisciplinary team. This includes 3 Advanced care practitioners, one consultant nurse, 2 pharmacists, 3 physician associates, occupational and physiotherapists, discharge facilitators, locally employed senior and junior clinical fellows and rotating doctors in training. Main duties of the job This appointment will be made in accordance with the 2003 Consultant Contract Terms and Conditions. The Job Description indicates the main duties of the post, which may be reviewed in the light of experience and developments within service. Any review will be undertaken in conjunction with the post holder. This is a full time, locum post for 6 months.
