Planet Pharma are seeking a skilled Maintenance and Facilities Technician to join our team in Hertfordshire. The ideal candidate will have a background in building maintenance or facilities management. This role is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and improvement of the site’s infrastructure, including office environments, laboratories, and GMP production lines, with a focus on bringing external work in-house.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform maintenance tasks such as repairing tiles, fixing damaged walls, assisting engineers with flushing, maintaining fan cores (filters), repairing light fittings, fixing taps and leaks, and moving desks.
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to schedule and oversee repairs, renovations, and installations.
* Handle some ad hoc out-of-hours work with prior notice.
* Receive training on systems and demonstrate IT literacy.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in building maintenance or facilities management.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills to liaise with internal and external parties.
* IT literate and willing to undergo further training.
