Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Event Assistant to support our Event Director in delivering exceptional events at the ICA. You’ll manage communications, coordinate event logistics, and provide excellent client service while ensuring operational efficiency. This position is maternity cover on a fixed term contract February to December 2025. Key Responsibilities: Admin & Communication : Manage event inboxes, respond promptly, and forward inquiries. Prepare estimates, contracts, and sales dashboards. Act as the point of contact between ICA and Bistrotheque. Sales & Marketing : Keep sales materials and templates up to date. Organise client show rounds and ensure spaces are prepared. Event Coordination : Assist with event planning, including small-scale room hires. Liaise with ICA to request staff and security as needed. General : Undertake tasks delegated by the Event Director. Requirements : Preferred experience in admin and/or food & beverage. An art world background is NOT required.
