Salary: £34,640 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Overtime and shift allowance are available.
Key Responsibilities: As a Plater Fabricator, you will carry out trade-specific point-of-work risk assessments, adhere to all risk assessments, policies, and laws, ensure that all tools and equipment used are suitable, fit for purpose, and in date for any inspection required, attend training courses, tool box talks, and briefings where possible, develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, and report all accidents, incidents, and near misses via the appropriate reporting tool.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have completed an appropriate trade apprenticeship, naval equivalent qualifications, or qualifications (NVQ in Trade), have experience in fabrication, be competent in using a wide range of hand tools and equipment, and relevant industry experience in Marine, Oil & Gas, Heavy Construction, or Rolling Stock. Additionally, you should be able to work at heights and confined spaces.
